Gather together roses-

for you to hold in your hand.

When you join together with Me,

as the bride I've longed to keep.

Gather together roses-

the young ones and the old ones.

The ones you consider ugly,

and the ones you consider dear.

Gather together roses-

to be in the bridal procession.

Celebration will be held that day,

and hearts will be alive with joy.

Gather together roses-

to be in heaven with us.

Oh, our beloved will join us

as we walk to eternity.
